Creating Pioneer Form
Pioneer Form is an interdisciplinary film and photography studio founded in 2012 by Russell G. Oliver. The studio, born from a vision to capture evolving sites, develops methods to layer environmental and social structures to make meaningful changes to the environment. Every video and image can be an impetus for lasting, positive change.
About Russell
Russell G. Oliver is a filmmaker and photographer. Early on, Russell adopted a visual medium to interpret dynamic environments with an emphasis on narrative and placemaking while retaining a unique aesthetic. Along with his travels throughout North & Central America, Europe, and the Middle East, he has worked on numerous campaigns with renowned organizations and firms.
